LUNCH-TIME GAMES CLUB
Who says school can’t be all fun and games? Starting at lunch the week of April 10, students will have the opportunity to practice the art of winning and losing gracefully while socializing with their peers.
To keep the teams fair, there will be a K-2 session (Mondays) and a 3-5 session (Tuesdays). Each session will be limited to sixteen players. Based on interest/availability, your child may be participating in a four or eight week session. All sessions will be held in Ms. Ferraro’s Room.
If you are interested in having your child participate, please fill out the attached form by April 3.
Please contact Ms. Ferraro with any questions at cferraro@d64.org.

Recycling Plastic Bags
Did you know? A plastic bag doesn’t degrade, it only breaks down into smaller pieces and has negative impacts on ecosystems and food chains if not contained. Only about 2% of bags are actually recycled. Support the Maine South Environmental Club by bringing in your plastic grocery, ziplock/sandwich, newspaper, bread and cereal bags. Their goal is to collect 500 pound of plastic bags to build a bench near their front pond. Send your child with clean plastic bags and will ensure your plastic bag goes to a good cause! ~ Carpenter Green Team.
