Bingo for the Soul
Dear Ross Community,
After our Llama had spent four flu-infested days at home, her previously hearty Axolotl brother emerged like an apparition, green around the gills and sporting a 101.7 fever. And so we spent a long weekend homebound, convalescing, enjoying the fireplace and movie marathons. The Llama-Axolotl team returned to school this morning, and I hope your Roadrunners were among the healthy crowd entering with them today.
What's the best antidote for this January virus party? Obviously: bingo! Reset your calendars for our freshly rescheduled Bingo Night, which is sure to cure all ills and put smiles on everyone's faces. Join us on Thursday, February 19, at the Foundry UMC (details below).
Stay warm, wash your hands, and hang in there,
Aimee

The Ross PTA will hold the second general body (open to everyone) meeting of the year Thursday, March 5, from 7:00 to 8:00 pm virtually via Zoom (link to join). Ross Auction 2026
This year’s annual Ross Auction—one of our school’s key fundraising events—will take place as a silent auction. To make the most of our resources, especially given the current economic climate, we will not hold a gala event this year. Instead, we’re exploring ideas for a community-building happy hour or similar gathering, so stay tuned for details! A big thank-you to everyone who has already volunteered to help! We’ll be convening the auction committee soon, and we’re still looking for a few additional helpers—especially those who can email local businesses (from a provided list) and follow up about donation opportunities. Interested in helping or have questions? Please contact PTApresident@rosselementary.org.
