We had another week full of learning at preschool! Students were playing in apple orchards, building skyscrapers, and exploring fall leaves and pumpkins. When we return next week, fall will be in full swing with so many more fun fall activities ahead. We hope you have a good long weekend ahead and we will see you on Tuesday.

Next week is Fire Safety Week and we are excited to welcome two DFP Firefighters to teach our students about fire safety! Firefighter Patrick and Firefighter Jax will be visiting us on Thursday, October 12, 2023 to teach us how to stay safe. We look forward to their visit and learning more!

We are offering tours of the preschool to interested families on the following dates:

October 19, November 1, and November 7 all at 5:30.

Thank you for your proactive communication with me and our educators. This is key at this age and ALL ages. There is no detail that is too small, and many of these small details can have big impact on your child's day. If your child did not get a good night's sleep, growing those 3 year old molars, or has decided not to eat what was once a favorite food, please let us know. This information assists us in helping your child throughout his or her day.

The DFP Parent Advisory Council (PAC) is actively looking for governing members: President, Secretary, Treasurer and other posts. Please mark your calendar: picture day will be on Friday, October 13. You can order your child's photo in advance with the information below. Your child will have an individual photo as well as a class photo. We also have a picture retake day in the coming months just in case.
