We have officially closed out week three of school and the month of August. As we prepare to enter the month of September we will wrap up MAP testing and prepare for our Character Count lessons where we reinforce building character and becoming great citizens that will be reflective in the Jackson community.

During our extra day of rest, have your Jaguar share with you the difference between a Jag Brag and a You've Been Spotted. Every student has the opportunity to be recognized in many different ways to help support creating a school environment where learning is desired, leadership is built, and investment is ongoing!

• Money for pictures MUST be placed in the picture money envelope.
• The envelope MUST have the following information filled out:
• Name of Student
• Teacher Name
• Grade Level
• Package being purchased
• New This Year: Please send the completed picture money envelopes to the office each day.
• NO envelope need if a parent paid online.
• Exact change MUST be provided. Photographers and the office do not give out change.

Jackson is committed to highlighting our students who serve as positive role models by exemplifying our campus student expectations. Each day, students have the opportunity to earn "Jag Brags," which promote financial literacy and responsible behavior, as well as "You've Been Spotted" awards. On Mondays and Fridays, the Administration Team recognizes students who have been acknowledged by staff members. Please stay attentive for these recognition's and celebrate our students' positive contributions.
