Dear Eissler Families,
What a wonderful first week of school! We have loved welcoming our Eagles back to campus and seeing the excitement, energy, and smiles throughout the building.
It was such a joy to see so many of our families at our Meet the Teacher events. We are especially grateful for the opportunity to meet our new families and begin building the relationships that make our school community so special.
It has been a great first week and we are so thankful to have your children as part of our Eissler family. We are excited about all that this school year has in store.
Thank you for partnering with us and trusting us with your most precious gift. We are blessed to serve this wonderful community, and we can't wait to continue building our legacy together!
Have a wonderful weekend, Eagles!
With gratitude,

Arrival and Dismissal Procedures
Car Riders/ Morning Arrival
If you will be driving your child to school, please go straight when you enter the school grounds. Please stay in the car line and wait for a staff member to unload your child. Please do not park on Old Conroe Road or in the school parking lot and walk your child across the walkway and into the school unless you have school business to handle. This is dangerous and disrupts the flow of traffic for our buses and car line. (You may park in the parking lot and walk your child to class on the first day of school.)
Car Riders/ Dismissal
Dismissal will begin at 3:10 pm. When picking up your child in the car line, you will need a transportation sign with your child's name. Please place the sign on your windshield, visible for our staff members to see. Parents will receive 2 transportation signs at Meet the Teacher. If you do not have your sign at dismissal, you will need to park and come into the front office to verify ID. Please do not pass cars in the carline and please do not park in the carline.
Bus Riders
Students eligible for bus transportation must live at least (1) mile from the school. All students must request transportation. You will need your child’s 6-digit Student ID number to register your child for transportation.
If the student is currently enrolled, the parents may go on-line to request transportation services. Parents may go to CISD homepage and click on “What Bus Do I Ride” in order to find out if bus services will be offered for their child. Once an address is entered, a bus number will appear if the student is eligible for bus transportation.
Bus riders will be given a Smart Tag that will be zip tied to their backpacks. Each bus rider will scan his/her Smart Tag as she gets on and off the bus each day. It is very important that this tag remains on the backpack throughout the year. Please do not allow your students to put stickers on their smart tags. If Smart Tags are lost, they are $5 to replace.
Bikers and Walkers
The sidewalk is located along the retaining wall when you turn left into the building. The side walk curves along the retaining wall, down the hill, and curves around the parking lot. Bikers and walkers will enter through the front doors of the building. Students will dismiss at the front doors and at the bus ramp. Parents are welcome to pick their bikers/walkers up near the flagpole. Parents will need transportation signs to pick up pre K- first grade students. Second through fourth grade students can walk home alone with parent permission.
Bikers/ Walkers are reserved for students walking to and from school. Please do not park on Old Conroe Road to drop off or pick up a walker. This is dangerous and disrupts the flow of traffic. If you are coming in a car, you will need to go through the carline.
****Teachers will be sending a transportation Google Form for parents to complete in their homeroom emails being sent on Friday, August 7th.

Family Assistance Form
Throughout the year, different organizations come to Eissler Elementary wanting to assist our students and families with school supplies, clothing, and other various needs. The Family Educational Rights and privacy Act, a federal law that makes student educational records confidential, prohibits us from releasing student information to these agencies without your permission. To help us work with these groups in the most efficient way possible, we ask that if you are interested in such assistance, you complete and sign the form below.
These assistance programs vary from year to year. Giving us permission to release your information does not automatically mean you will receive assistance. It does let us know that you would welcome such assistance and would be willing to have your information released to these organizations. In turn, these groups agree to use your information only for the purpose of their assistance program(s). It is also required that your consent for release of information be updated annually. If you have a question, feel free to contact your child’s counselor.
Please click HERE to complete the Assistance Form.
Feathered Friends
What is Feathered Friends? It is a mentor program for students. It is a community volunteer who reinforces learning through one-on-one assistance while helping boost self-esteem. The purpose of the program is to provide the student with positive support by pairing a student with an adult who takes an interest in their academic and positive character development and encouraging the student to reach their full potential.
We would love to have you come once a week or twice a month to work with students as a mentor. If you have the time and are available, we would love to have you as part of the program. Please complete the form below. All adults who come into the building must complete a background check every year. Please complete a background check as well if you are interested.
Military Connected Families
Military Connected Families
Is your family connected to the military?
A military-connected student is a K-12 or college student who is the child, dependent, or even a service member with a direct connection to a current or former member of the U.S. military. This connection includes active-duty personnel, National Guard and Reserve members, and veterans.
Why should I identify my student as Military Connected?
This process helps schools tailor programs and resources to better serve military children, leading to improved educational outcomes, and smoother transitions between schools and communities.
