Gregory Sever of Bailey Middle School had no idea his night was about to shift into a whole new gear! He went on to win the 2025-26 Spring ISD Teacher of the Year ✨ and then walked away from the district's annual Employee Recognition Banquet with a brand-new Ford Escape, courtesy of a 16-year partnership with Randall Reed's Planet Ford. Congrats are also in order for Meyer Elementary School teacher Hannah Greer, the district’s Elementary Teacher of the Year and the evening’s runner-up, who received a $2,500 Visa gift card. The night also celebrated retirees, milestone service anniversaries, principals of the year, and the district's first-ever Visiting International Teachers of the Year. A memorable night for a district celebrating 90 years of excellence! 🎊

The Dekaney High School Star Theater was packed this week as Spring ISD celebrated more than 500 students during the annual May Board Meeting Student Honors Celebration. 🎉

Held for the fourth consecutive year at Dekaney, the event recognized outstanding individual and team achievements at the local, regional, state and national levels. Students were honored by the Spring ISD Board of Trustees for their hard work, talent and dedication throughout the year.

Westfield High School Theatre Troupe 305 students Jaliyah Muhammad and Lisabel Cantu kept the energy high all evening as student emcees, reminding every honoree that the future is bright.

🎓 Anderson Elementary School had not one but TWO graduation ceremonies this week — and the full house for both proved Spring ISD families don't miss a moment. Kindergarteners rocked their big moment while fifth graders closed out their Anderson era in style, with proud families cheering loudly from start to finish. Cheers, tears and cameras absolutely everywhere — the Gators put on a show that everyone enjoyed. Whether your little one is just getting started or heading off to middle school, Anderson made sure they felt every bit of the love this week. Congratulations! 💚

Six Spring ISD teachers walked into an ordinary school day this week and walked out completely overwhelmed — in the best possible way. Honored Schools surprised each of them with a $2,500 check for their extraordinary impact on students and school communities, showing up on campus with cameras, cheers and absolutely zero warning. 🤩 Students were cheering. Colleagues were emotional. And the teachers? Completely speechless. This is what it looks like when a community shows up for the people who pour everything into its students.

Spring ISD is beyond proud of these six outstanding teachers! ✨Congratulations to Arnold Rubit of Twin Creeks Middle School, Mario Hamilton and Samuel Lopez Perez of Spring Early College Academy, Martha Palmer of Link Elementary School, and Alexandra Bracht and Chelsea Hubbard of Claughton Middle School. 💛Stay tuned for surprise videos, photos and a news blog!

🎓 Meet Zane from Burchett Elementary School!

This 2nd grader in Ms. Tomlin's class is out here setting the standard — and he's only just getting started. Zane brings curiosity and confidence to every lesson, pushes himself in both reading and math, and somehow still finds time to cheer on the kids around him. His classmates get a better learning environment just by having him in the room. Respectful, kind, driven — Zane is the definition of Bobcat excellence, and Burchett couldn't be prouder to call him one of their own. Keep shining, Zane! 🐱⭐

🎓 Meet Breyton from Cooper Elementary School!

When his entire 5th grade class took the Math STAAR practice exam, one student came away with a Masters level score — and that student was Breyton Medina. This Cooper Cowboy has been on a mission all year, consistently pushing himself to grow and reach higher levels of achievement with the kind of focus and work ethic that makes his teachers and classmates take notice. Math is clearly his thing, but the attitude he brings every single day? That's the real superpower. Breyton, you've earned this spotlight — now keep riding! 🤠⭐
