What a great, and short, week! With an exciting start to the week with the snow, we had to stay indoors for recess and got creative. We used the beanbags to practice balancing, played a 'pass the beanbag' game, and learned many movement songs. On days it's below 32 degrees, we will most likely stay indoors. We began examining different articles of clothing and talking about their purposes. If you still want to send in some items you're no longer using, we'll take them (big or small, fancy or casual). The more items we have the more we can sort and explore. We examined how rain boots repel water using eye droppers and a pair of boots. We read the books: Hats are Not for Cats; The Hat, and The Mitten. In Fundations we studied the letter 'W' and in art students painted hats and mittens. Have a great weekend!

Busy Snowflakes! Busy Snowflakes!
