Visitor Badges
When you are planning to visit the school, whether it’s to help out in the classroom or to join your student for lunch, please bring your ID.
We are working on getting our Raptors up and running soon! Once those are set up, please be patient with us as we work on printing your badge.
When wearing your visitor badge, please make sure it is visible at all times while in the building.
Thank you for your help in ensuring the safety of all our students and staff!
Lunches
As we begin the school year, we believe it is important for our students to become familiar with the layout of the building, begin building their independence, and foster relationships with their peers and staff members.
To help accomplish this, we ask that parents refrain from visiting their students for lunch during the first two weeks of school. After those first two weeks, parents are welcome to join their students for lunch. However, we ask that parents not accompany their students at recess so they can continue building their independence and enjoy their time of unstructured play and learning.
Thank you so much for helping us with this and supporting our students as they begin the new school year!
Late Drop-Off and Early Pick-Up
For late drop-off and early pick-up, we ask that parents walk their students into the school and check them in at the front desk. A form will be provided for you to complete, which will ask for your name, your student’s name, and the reason for the late drop-off or early pick-up, such as an appointment, tardiness, traffic, car problems, etc. This allows us to accurately record your student’s attendance.
When picking up your student early, please allow additional time to complete the form, for us to call your student down, and for them to walk to the front office.
With the busyness of the end of the day, we ask that if you need to pick up your student early, you please do so no later than 3:15 p.m.
Thank you for allowing us to navigate this new school year together!
Important Updates
- Want Breakfast? - If your student(s) would like school breakfast please have them come right inside. Breakfast doors open at 8:20am Monday -Thursday, and 9:05am on Friday!
- Playgrounds are closed before school. We would like students to go directly to the doors upon arrival. This is for the safety of our students. When one parent is out there with their own children or younger children, it entices others to join in who are not supervised. It also discourages them to come in for breakfast, or enter the building at 8:25 when the doors open.
- Please WALK your WHEELS on school grounds! Thank you!
- We are adding a secondary crosswalk in the large lot on Summit View Parkway.
- No Dogs are allowed on school grounds
- Do you have an after school meeting point planned out with your family? Please review with your student (s) where they should plan to meet you at the end of the school day (by a tree, by certain dismissal door, etc).
- New entry door- Students will now be able to come in using the ramp by the Summit View Parkway bus loop.
LATE START FRIDAYS START TOMORROW!
- Breakfast Doors open at 9:05am
- First bell rings at 9:10am, School Begins at 9:15am
- Tardy bell rings at 9:20am
- Please do not drop off your child before 9:05am as there will not be any adult supervision!
