The 2nd week of school was filled with incredible energy, authentic connections, and vibrant curiosity. Seeing our classrooms light up with eager faces and welcoming smiles set a deeply encouraging tone for the year ahead. We are so appreciative of the warmth, enthusiasm, and partnership our students and families have brought to our school community. With such a strong start behind us, we are thrilled to dive into the work, discovery, and shared growth waiting for us in the weeks to come.

First Day Shoe Fund provides new athletic shoes to students at Kalamazoo County Public elementary schools at no cost. If you need shoes for your student, order by clicking on the link below. Next Wednesday, Sept. 16th at 5:00 p.m. is the final deadline to submit orders. Unfortunately, any orders submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.

Your child probably brought home information about playing a stringed instrument in the school orchestra. If your child is committed to learn and would like to participate in orchestra, please check out the information below.

We are pleased to announce that Ms. LaQuetta Smith will serve as our afterschool site coordinator.
