Dear Members and Friends of UCN,

In an article from the Washington Post this week, Pope Leo issued what I believe to be a very important ethical "Encyclical" (his first) suggesting how humanity should approach the coming AI revolution. I believe the UUA should soon issue its own "vision statement" on how AI should be both used and controlled by humanity. I hope that all of us in the UCN community will be a part of this crucial conversation about AI and the role we will allow it to play in the human future. I offer this article to you as a starting place in that conversation.
