Michigamme Open House

We will host our back to school Open House on Wednesday, September 2 from 5:00-6:30. During this event students can meet their teacher, drop off school supplies, and tour the building. To reduce congestion we have divided the time by grade level:

K-2 - 5:00-6:00pm

3-5 - 5:30-6:30pm

Parking Lot Parking Lot

Pick Up & Drop Off

Please do not park in the drop off lane - we need to keep the flow of traffic moving safetly in the morning, parked cars make that difficult. If you want to walk your child to the door, please find a spot in the parking lot. We have Safety Patrol students ready to open car doors and escort students to their appropriate waiting place. See attached graphic for traffic flow patterns and drop-off zones.

Student Entry & Exit Locations

Door A - all bussers, 4th & 5th grades

Door E - Kinder & 1st grade

Door G - GSRP, 2nd & 3rd grade

Doors do not open until 8:15, students have from 8:15 to 8:25 to enter the building, get their breakfast, and unpack their bags in their classrooms. The parking lot is often empty by 8:18 a.m., and you can pull right up to drop off your student.

Please refrain from bringing pets to drop off or pick up your students - this is a safety concern for our students.

Reminders Reminders
