Only Two More Early Dismissal Program Days

If you receive the popup on Arbiter stating there is a completed registration you must click "Create Duplicate" to proceed. This popup does not confirm your child is signed up for all future ED days. Please check your registrations on Arbiter to confirm what ED days your child is signed up for.

ASE students who regularly attend on the day of an early dismissal are eligible to sign up for the Early Dismissal Day Program. ED program days end at 5:00 pm for MCS staff trainings. Currently all early dismissal days are scheduled for Wednesdays. If your child is enrolled in the Tues/Thurs weekly program option they are not eligible to attend.

Registration for the January 14th early dismissal day closes January 7th. Registration closes a week prior to the scheduled ED day to allow our team time to plan for staffing and events. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate late registrations.

Please click the link below to sign your child up for all ED days that they are qualified to attend. If you are adding an additional day to a previous registration, Arbiter will require you to click "Create Duplicate" to proceed. Please note that there are no refunds or credits for ED days not attended and/or canceled.

Reminder To All Families

Please ensure that your child is prepared for the day and ASE with the following packed in their backpack:

  • an extra set of clothes (clothes get wet for many reasons!)
  • an extra snack for ASE and water bottle
  • winter gear for playing outside in the cold

We follow EEC guidelines when determining whether is is safe to send students outside. When weather and temperatures allow, outside time will be part of the schedule throughout the winter months.

Please review the following for more information:

  • Protecting Children from Extreme Weather
  • Winter Weather Watch

Ja Shin Do and Chess End of Session Awards

Chess students recently participated in a final chess tournament, where families were invited to attend the closing moments and an award ceremony led by Chess Wizard Nick. Ms. Camille recognized the Ja Shin Do students for their dedication to practicing the discipline with awards.

We encourage you to consider enrolling your child in the upcoming winter session paid enrichment classes to take advantage of Chess Wizards, Ja Shin Do and Code Wiz, all high-quality programs offered during ASE!

ASE Clubs

Students in Glover ASE’s Fashion Club have been exploring a variety of fashion styles and their unique characteristics. Each week, the club highlights a specific style genre, encouraging students to create, personalize, and accessorize outfits that reflect it. Some students choose to work on crochet projects during Fashion Club as well!
