Have You Been A Victim of Phishing?

You might have received a "phishy" email a time or two, but have you clicked it? If you've accidentally fallen into the deep water, here are some things you can do to help protect your personal information moving forward.

1. Change all your passwords for accounts that might have been compromised.

2. If you entered in financial information, cancel your credit cards or contact your bank.

3. Contact the company or person that the phishing attempt impersonated- they could be subject to attack too!

4. Scan your devices for viruses and malware that could have been downloaded. Malwarebytes is a great & free option!

From the district, we send out tests all the time however, this can happen in your personal life too. Make sure you keep all your information protected and never provide financial or identifiable information without confirming the source.

School Spotlight 🔦

Mrs. Sirmons' fourth-grade students at Jemison Intermediate School recently used Kami for an Open Area Model of Multiplication Math assignment. They were able to draw their model and do all of their thinking and work on the PDF. It made the assignment more engaging for the students because they were using digital drawing tools, text boxes, and shapes. It also allowed the teacher to provide immediate feedback and corrections on their individual assignments in live time.
