Bellerive Bulletin
July 3, 2024
Dear Bellerive Families,
Happy Summer! It’s hard to believe that we have already flipped the calendar to July. The beginning of July was especially significant for me this year because July 1st was my official start date. I am both excited and honored to serve as your child's principal. I look forward to the great year ahead and getting to know you and your children.
I want to share the information below about school supplies, summer reading, and upcoming dates and events. I hope to see many of you at the upcoming Popsicles on the Playground event. Also, please follow Bellerive on Facebook or Instagram. We will soon be featuring Bellerive’s new staff members.
Please reach out if you have any questions or need anything this summer.
In Partnership,
Joey Kneer, Ed.D.
Principal, Bellerive Elementary School

School Supplies: Back-to-School Shopping Made Easy!
Want to skip back-to-school shopping this summer? You can order a school supply kit for a limited time with all the supplies your student will need for their upcoming school year.
- Go to this linked website before July 15 and select your child’s upcoming grade:
- Each kit includes everything required, with the exception of a few things, like gym shoes. Prices are comparable to Target and cheaper than Amazon
- Check out using a credit/debit card
- Consider adding a donation at checkout. Impacks will match the first $5, and all funds will go to supporting our school
- The supplies will be shipped directly to Bellerive Elementary where you will be able to pick them up during Meet the Teacher
Students participating in Essentials Skills classes should contact their Special Education Case Manager, Mrs. Kelly Waller (kwaller@parkwayschools.net), before ordering or purchasing any supplies.
Be sure to purchase your supply kit before the deadline of July 15. If you would prefer to purchase supplies on your own, the school supply list can be found here!

Summer Reading Resources
Read the Rainbow this Summer! Which colors is your child using to build their reading skills this summer? Please click here to visit Bellerive’s Summer Reading website. Mrs. Biehl has prepared reading lists, challenges, activities, and resources.
DreamBox is available over the summer!
If you are looking for resources for your child to continue to work on their math skills throughout the summer, DreamBox is available.
Here are the directions for accessing DreamBox from any device:
- Make sure the student is logged into the Google account on any device. (The care-giver needs to completely log out of Google.) Any student can log into Google with their @parkwayschools.net ID and password.
- Google "Parkway Clever".
- The student can then access Clever using their user name and password (again.)
- They will then have access to all Parkway Apps (except Savvas).
For any help with passwords or the steps to login, please reach out to the Help Desk (314-415-1818).
Don't Forget to Register
If you have a child, friend, or neighbor who will be entering Kindergarten or will be new next school year, please remind them to register NOW! Begin the process by clicking here. We need everyone to register ASAP so we know how many students to plan for and have the correct number of staff members hired.
