Dear families, sending one final newsletter with a peek at the many fun things and celebrations that happen in the spring. Thank you for a wonderful year- Enjoy the Summer!

We are proud to share that our very own Mrs. Pasillas has been named the 2026 Burleigh County Teacher of the Year!

Mrs. Pasillas will be honored for this outstanding achievement on June 23rd at the State Capitol. Her dedication and commitment to our 5th graders makes a lasting impact every day. We are incredibly grateful to have her as part of our Grizzly family. Congratulations! This recognition is well deserved.

Our incoming kindergarten students met many of their classmates and teachers at Gearing Up For Kindergarten/Spring Open House. There will be another open house for K-5 August 17th. Info below

This month in Career Cafe we got the excitement of learning about racecar driving and being a flight nurse from our special guests!

To help transition to the next grade level, Grimsrud arranges a "walk-up" for students to get a glimpse of what next year might look, sound, and feel like. Students got a Glimpse of their next year teachers and classrooms by spending some time engaging in a morning routine, a community building activity, and a read-aloud. We believe this helps set students up for success in the upcoming year!

All CHS Seniors walked through the halls of Grimsrud in cap and gown. It is a special visit we look forward to every year! Congratulations to the class of 2026!

What a special day at Grimsrud. Kindergarteners walked in with 5th Grade Buddies and both had a special graduation ceremony. Thank you to all parents who joined us! We are so proud of our graduates!

Dakota Zoo visited Grimsrud for a special end of year assembly. We got to see two different kinds of turtles, a ball python, ferrets and more!

What a beautiful day for kickball. The Staff Team won! Students enjoyed popsicles courtesy of our Grimsrud PTO.

As we get closer to the first day of school in the fall, we will send more information via email to families.
