In March 2025, voters did not approve the proposed Gering Middle School bond. While the outcome wasn’t what we had hoped for, it sent a clear message: it’s time for us to pause, listen, and learn.

Moving forward, our focus is on understanding. What resonated? What didn’t? What questions still remain? We are committed to taking a step back and engaging in open conversations with our staff, families, and community members. This is not about revisiting the same plan — it’s about reimagining together, grounded in shared values and a clear understanding of the needs.

This next chapter begins with listening — and we’re ready.

Starting this summer, the GHS auditorium is getting a significant HVAC upgrade.

• Because of these improvements, the auditorium will be under construction and unavailable through 2025.
• While the curtain is temporarily down at GHS, we’re thrilled to partner with the historic Midwest Theater to host our holiday programs later this year because we know "the show must go on..."

Thank you for your patience and support!
