Welcome to the 2026-2027 School Year!

Week of October 30th!
What an exciting week at our school! We were thrilled to host the Fort Mill School Board, who were thoroughly impressed by our fantastic students and dedicated staff. Our third graders had an unforgettable time exploring animal adaptations during their Anne Springs Close Greenway field trip, and we proudly celebrated our newest Dragons of the Month for showing wonderful respect across our school community. We ended the week on a festive note with our Annual Book Character Parade, where students and staff brought their favorite storybook characters to life!

Dragon of the Month
Congratulations to the following Dragons for being selected as this month's Dragons of the Month. These students were selected by their classmates for being respectful in their classrooms. These Dragons received a DBES swag bag, popcorn, and attended a brief celebration ceremony where parents submitted videos to let their Dragon know how proud they are of their student. Congrats Dragons!
No School - November 3rd
There is no school for students or staff on Tuesday, November 3rd. With the day off, it’s a great opportunity to make your voice heard. Take a moment to head to the polls and cast your vote!
Service Learning Project 2026
We are excited to start collecting items for our Service Learning Project. This year's Service Learning Project will be on Tuesday November 24th and we will be making Bridge Bags. The bridge bag is a cinched bag containing items that could benefit a person in need, such as toothbrush, deodorant wipes, etc. Each grade level is responsible for collecting the specific items that will be used to fill the bags. Please consider signing up to donate an item for this wonderful project. If you have children in multiple grades you will notice some grade levels have more students and require more items. More information to come in the following weeks.
Sign up for donated items using the following links by grade level:
