Foussat Weekly Newsletter
April 26, 2026
Message from Mrs. Glassford and Ms. Alton
Dear Foussat Families,
We’re so proud of our Falcon families participating in our One School, One Book activities. If you haven't already heard about the adventures of Flora and Ulysses, scroll down for more information on how to participate. Speaking of participating, everyone is welcome to our Family Art Night this Tuesday. Let your creativity shine! We are looking for just a few more adult volunteers - sign up here. Research suggests that families that are involved in school make a direct positive impact on their child's learning!
There are plenty of activities this week so check out the calendar at the very end of this newsletter. In particular, this week our 5th graders finish up their CAASPP state testing so let's make sure to remind them of all the healthy habits that we can - a good night's rest, a nutritious breakfast, and a big hug from their families goes a long way!
Go Foussat Falcons!

One School, One Book - Week 2
As we wrap up week 2 of One School One Book with Flora and Ulysses, I would like to remind you that we have a Squirrel Maze Challenge for students to participate in! See the flyer here.
Your student can make a maze at home and you can send a picture or video to me via email so that your student gets a small prize and is entered in the raffle. IF the maze is a reasonable size, your student can bring the maze to school to share instead of the photo/video.
Here you will find examples of how simple or creative you can get! All entries must be submitted by 4/30. Thanks for your support and engaging with our shared reading experience!
Summer Camp Registration

Copies of the registration flyers are linked below For questions and program updates, please refer parents to our Program Webpage.
