The Beautiful Sound of our Children's Voices
We believe all students have a story to tell. Throughout the year we strive to make sure all students have an opportunity to share their thoughts and ideas, as well as their backgrounds. As we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, we invite our students to share their heritage as part of our morning announcements. Lucas introduced himself and shared his family's Dominican Republic heritage.
The 21 Hispanic heritage nations and territories are Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Equatorial Guinea, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, Spain, Uruguay, and Venezuela. We have had students share with Columbian, Puerto Rican, and Dominican, heritage.
We are so very proud of our students and their willingness to share their voices with one another!
Stella also shared her Hispanic heritage. CLICK HERE to listen to Stella introduce herself and share her voice!
