The Week of December 7, 2025
A lot of information about Christmas Events! Please read.

Second Sunday of Advent
This Sunday marks the Second Week of Advent, a sacred time in our Church as we continue our journey of preparation for the coming of Christ. This week, we light the second purple candle, known as the Candle of Faith (or the Bethlehem Candle). Its light reminds us of Mary and Joseph’s unwavering trust in God as they prepared for the birth of Jesus. It also calls each of us to deepen our own faith and readiness to welcome Christ into our hearts and homes.
Advent is a beautiful season of hope, reflection, and preparation. We are invited to pause from the busyness of everyday life and turn our attention toward the true meaning of Christmas. We prepare not only by making room in our schedules, but by making room in our souls through prayer, acts of kindness, and opening our hearts to God’s grace.
May this second week of Advent fill your family with peace, faith, and joyful anticipation of Christ’s coming.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father,
As we continue our Advent journey, guide our hearts toward Your Son. Strengthen our faith as we light the second candle, and help us to prepare with love, patience, and hope. May Your presence be felt in our homes, our school, and our community as we await the birth of Jesus.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
Believe Kids Fundraiser Pick Up - Monday between 3-5PM
Report Cards will be sent home in your child's Thursday folder.
Celebrate the successes and set goals for areas of struggle.
Your child’s Trimester 1 report card will be coming home this Thursday. We encourage you to take time to review it carefully with your child. While the academic grades are important, please also pay close attention to the teacher comments, as well as the effort and conduct marks. These pieces together provide a full picture of your child’s growth.
Celebrate the many successes you see on the report card, and also take a moment to discuss any areas that may need improvement. Working together, help your child set meaningful goals for the second trimester.
As always, please remember that we are here to support both you and your child throughout their academic journey. If you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to reach out.
