YES Stallion Press
Volume IV November 10, 2025

Assistant Principal's Message
Hello Yowell Families, this is Mrs. Ward subbing in with your weekly update! November is underway and the chilly weather is starting to roll into Culpeper. We have a busy week ahead. This week we will have our state-mandated safety and evacuation drills. Our teachers have reviewed procedures and expectations of each drill so that students are prepared.
We are starting a Nothing Bundt Cakes fundraiser benefiting our musical, Aristocats. It is your opportunity to purchase some tasty treats for your Thanksgiving guests! Bundtlets will be delivered to Yowell for pickup November 24th. There is also a QR code below for quick and easy ordering.
Believe it or not, we are already half way through the second quarter. Interims will be sent home in Tuesday folders this week. On Friday, November 14 we are encouraging all stallions to wear blue to support World Diabetes Day. Also on Friday we will be announcing the November attendance prize! Keep your eyes open for the big reveal!
Thank you all for continuing to make Yowell such a wonderful school! Teamwork makes the dream work!
Mrs. Ward

Transportation Information
In an effort to assist schools and parents with current information about bus changes, transportation has added a new item on their website called: Transportation - Morning Update. The direct link can be found here. Also, this is the direct link to transportation.
Parents of students Pre-K through Grade 3 are expected to meet their children at the bus stop. Failure to do so will result in the child(ren) being returned to school. Should you choose to allow your child(ren) to be dropped off without supervision in the afternoon, please fill out and return this document.
We will be posting departure times for buses each day to assist parents with receiving their child from the bus stop. Please check this document each afternoon.
If your student requires transportation assistance, call the Transportation Department at 540-825-5446 or email them at transportation@ccpsweb.org
School Resource Officer (SRO)
We are happy to have a School Resource Officer (SRO) this year at Yowell. You can contact Deputy Brandon Mack with any concerns you have with school safety or anything that would be related to criminal activity.
