Allstar Newsletter- Family
Hi Everyone,
As a reminder breakfast doesn't start until 8:15, please do not send your kids early as it is getting colder. As far as school starting the first bell rings at 8:50. We do not have any supervision outside until 8:35 so please do not send your students to school any earlier. We do check the air quality and temperatures.
Thanks to our Hope Squad- students and advisors, and PTA, we had fun filled week. Below is a video of the students participating in being the "I" in Kind. A special thanks to PTA for the banner and taking the time for taking all the pictures, we hope you enjoy the video. Remember to treat everyone with kindness no matter what. This month we are focusing the "I" in Kind.
This week our 4th-6th grades will be doing the in-class Spelling Bee. Then later this month we will have our School Spelling Bee; it will take place on Tuesday February 24 at 9:15. This will be for the class winners and their families.
We will have our Kindergarten roundup on March 6 at 2pm.
Please reach out if there is anything I can do. Thanks for being the BEST school community and for your support and appreciation.
Thanks,
Mrs. Pool
GOAT Staff this WEEK!
Ms. Williams: Our one and only 6th grade teacher who is lonely out in the potable! She celebrates her birthday in May and loves chocolate, but specifically a Caramelo. When she needs a salty treat its Popcorn. She loves a diet Dr. Pepper but if she is getting a fancy drink its Diet Dr. Pepper with a lime. Her favorite color is black, and she loves the smell of citrus. If she could have any superpower, it would be the ability to shapeshift. It would be interesting to be a different person or animal for a day.
Ms. Lindsay: Our health clerk! She celebrates her birthday in May. She loves caramel M&M's and Twix, but when it comes salt it must be popcorn. She loves diet Dr. Pepper but if she is getting swig its DDD! She loves the smell of coconut, and her favorite color is purple. If she could have any super power, it would be to clean her house with a wink like a genie.
Mrs. Carlson: Kindergarten teacher who survives on Pepsi. She celebrates a trip around the sun in August. She loves lemon cars, snickers but when it needs to be salty you'll find her snacking on skinny pop. When she wants a drink it is anything with Pepsi- I told you she survives on Pepsi. Her favorite smell is pine and she loves to eat at Chik-fil-la. Her favorite colors are purple and black. If she could have any superpower it would be to fly.
Mrs. Fowler: She wears many hats- tutors students, works in the office, and is one of our fabulous recess coaches. She loves cookies and Rolos, but when she wants a salty treat its popcorn. She loves to drink to Horchata and water. She celebrates her birthday in March. Anytime we have a swig run she doesn't get a drink but a sugar cookie she will always indulge in. She loves fun and crazy earrings! She will always participate in school spirit days and loves the color green. If she could have any superpower, it would be to stop time for everyone but herself, so she could take a nap, then restart the time.
