Worthington Hills Weekly Update
May 21, 2026
Dear Worthington Hills Families,
Thank you for an amazing school year! A heartfelt thank you to all of the volunteers who helped make this last day of school so memorable for our students. Thank you as well to our teachers and staff, who continually go above and beyond each day for the benefit of our children. It truly takes a village, and I am so proud to be part of this one.
A huge shout-out to our 5th graders! We are so proud of each and every one of you and have loved watching you learn, grow, and lead during your time at Worthington Hills. You have truly modeled what it means to be a Thinker, Leader, and Friend. We wish you all the best as you begin this exciting next chapter at McCord Middle School. You will always have a special place in our hearts!
As we head into summer, I hope your days are filled with laughter, rest, adventure, and meaningful moments with your kiddos. The days may sometimes feel long, but the years go by far too quickly.
Wishing all of our families a safe, happy, and memory-filled summer!
Lost & Found will be donated on Tuesday May 26 - stop in by noon to look for any lost items.
Make it a great summer!
Tiena Miller
Principal
(Lost & Found items are donated at the end of each trimester)

Eligibility
To be eligible for kindergarten enrollment, your child must turn 5 years old on or before the first day of school.
All-day Kindergarten
Worthington Schools proudly offers universal, no-cost, all-day kindergarten for all students. This means that every eligible child in our district has access to a full day of high-quality kindergarten education at no expense to families. There is no longer a tuition-based system or a lottery for all-day placement.
How to Enroll
Visit our Welcome Center website for enrollment steps and frequently asked questions.
Just a few reminders when riding bikes to school. All students who ride their bike to and from school must wear a helmet.
The highlighted yellow line indicates how students (and grownups) must approach the building on their bikes in the morning. When students enter from the opposite Candlewood entrance it is not safe as busses and drivers can not see them clearly. In addition, the road is closed coming from that direction and bikers must follow the rules of the road. Please speak with your child (and other adults) about entering the correct way on Candlewood. We appreciate your support!
