We are almost there...
Good morning, Amazing Cavalier Team!
It was so good to see each of you last week! I could feel the positive energy as we made our way through the first week! I hope we can keep that going... We have a lot of important information to share this week. Please hang with us as we make our way through the required information. Our hope is that as you continue to learn, you will enjoy a few of the activities and continue to build strong relationships!
Tomorrow we are wearing green - the color of growing. In order to take on the challenges ahead, we have to have a growth mindset. Also, tomorrow morning is the Breakfast Potluck. Mrs. Cotton sent out information and a link to sign up. Even if you haven't signed up yet, I hope you will grab a breakfast item and come join everyone as we start our day with great food! After breakfast, we have a lot of required learning to get through.
Tuesday is an amazing day because it is Readiness Day! This will be the first day to have students and their families in the building for this school year. The morning is set up for 2 sessions for our brand new students. The afternoon is a time for returning students to pick up their schedule and brand new shirt! Please wear your Cav spirit wear or orange and navy. Prior to the start of Readiness Day, we will be practicing our Morning Arrival MBM plan.
On Wednesday, we have a guest presenter. Prior to their start, we will talk about the new ELPS expectations for the 26-27 school year. After that, our Seidlitz presenter will lead us through a PD that is designed to give us great strategies to use with EB students. However, I have attended a couple of trainings by this group and one of my former teachers stated, "this is just good for all students!" I hope you learn lots and feel as though you can take it back to your classroom and use it all throughout the year!
Thursday is the last and final teacher workday. Please use this time to get your classroom ready. If you need help, please let us know! I can make a pretty cute bulletin board if needed...😀
And, then it will be Friday! On Friday, the admin team will be cooking up and serving pancakes in the cafeteria. Also, we will wear camo that day because our 26-27 Mission is Possible! This day has a ton of important information. I will do my best to finish a little early so you can work on any last minute plans or finish that final classroom staging for the first day...
