Week Five, Maple Run!
Message from Superintendent Bill Kimball
We’ve now reached the fifth week of school, and it’s clear that students and staff have settled into a strong rhythm of learning. Classrooms are alive with curiosity, determination, and collaboration as students challenge themselves and support one another.
This time of year always reminds me how much growth can happen in just a few short weeks. Like the change of seasons, learning is full of energy, transition, and new possibilities. Each day brings opportunities to discover, connect, and build the habits that will guide our students throughout the year.
On this first week of fall, I’m especially grateful for the dedication of our staff, the support of our families, and the commitment of our students. Together, you bring warmth, sunshine, and strength to Maple Run, creating a community where everyone feels supported, valued, and inspired to thrive.
Happy fall to our entire Maple Run community!
Here’s to another great week ahead!
Every Maple Run Family. Every Year. One Quick, Anonymous Form.
Please Fill The Form
Each year, we ask every Maple Run family to complete the Household Information Form. While all students already receive free breakfast and lunch at our schools, this form is about much more than meals. The information you provide helps strengthen our schools, secure additional resources, and fund programs that support all students, from academic enrichment to extracurricular opportunities.
Completing the form is quick, easy, and completely anonymous. Even if you don’t qualify for free or reduced-price meals, your submission is still critically important. The data collected helps our district plan, budget, and provide the best possible learning experiences for every student.
We ask that every family take a few minutes to fill out the form today. Your participation ensures that Maple Run continues to grow and thrive as a place where every child has the support and opportunities they need to succeed.

Attendance Matters
Be Here. Be Engaged. Be Inspired.
At Maple Run, we know that showing up every day, on time, and ready to learn is one of the most important ways students can set themselves up for success. That’s why our attendance campaign reminds us all: Be Here. Be Engaged. Be Inspired.
Every day is a new opportunity to learn, connect, and grow. For our students, consistent attendance builds strong habits, deepens relationships, and ensures they don’t miss out on valuable instruction and experiences. For our staff, it’s just as important to model the same behavior we ask of students—arriving each day with an open heart, an open mind, and a commitment to being present. When staff and students alike show up fully, it creates a culture of reliability, respect, and care that benefits everyone in our community.
Together, let’s make each school day count. Our students are counting on us.

Wellness Tip of the Week
Hello, Fall!
As the days grow shorter and the sun sets earlier, it’s easy to feel the shift in energy. Embrace the crisp mornings, bright sunshine, and crunchy leaves by taking a mindful pause outside. Even a few minutes enjoying the fresh fall air, noticing the colors around you, or breathing deeply while bringing in plants or walking through your neighborhood can lift your mood and reset your mind.
A short daily outdoor moment can help you adjust to the cooler temperatures, boost your energy, and keep your spirits bright as the season changes.
Step outside, soak up the sunlight, and let the beauty of fall refresh your body and mind.
