This Week's Schedule (Spirit Week!)

Monday, August 8th (Crazy hats and socks)

Full Band Camp, 8 am - 4 pm (lunch noon - 1 pm)
Seniors - please pick up your schedules at 8 am.
Band Booster Meeting, 6:30 pm in auditorium

Tuesday, August 9th (tie dye)

Drumline Call time 9:15 am - Wear summer uniforms (Grey band polo, black dress shorts, black belt, black no show black socks, marching shoes, and band ball cap. No makeup or jewelry.)
Drumline Performance 9:45 am
Parent Pick Up 10:15 am
Full Band Camp, 5 pm - 8 pm

Wednesday, August 10th (Wild West wear)

Full Band Camp, 5 pm - 8 pm

Thursday, August 11th (Sports jerseys)

Full Band Camp, 5 pm - 8 pm

Friday, August 12th, 8 am - 4 pm (Color Wars, 9th-orange, 10th-red, 11th-green, 12th-blue)

Full Band Camp, 8 am - 4 pm (lunch noon - 1 pm)
Movie Party, 6-8 pm, DHS auditorium

Band Pictures

We will be taking our band pictures Monday afternoon. Band students need to bring marching shoes, black socks, and gloves as well as their performance gear - compression shorts and shirt. Color guard needs to bring long black socks and proper undergarments. No jewelry or unnatural hair colors are allowed in uniform for band or color guard. WiddyUp Fundraiser

Our first fundraiser of the year is off and running!!! We have already raised over $2,000! During on-boarding on Friday we had to battle less than stellar internet service. Some students my still be in the process of downloading our videos from Dropbox and then uploading them into their WiddyUp dashboard. If your family needs help finalizing set up this weekend please reach out. Our Way and Means Committee Chair, Kathryn Evans, is more than happy to help! (wolfbandfundraising@gmail.com) Every student who comes to rehearsal Monday morning with six or more contacts loaded will get a flying frog toy. Everyone that comes with at least one donation gets a donut. And the student who has the most contacts loaded by Monday morning takes home a $20 Chick fil A giftcard!

Spirit Week

This week is Spirit Week! All students are encouraged to participate. Here is the flier with the theme for each day.

Rehearsal Conflicts

Here are the conflicts that we are aware for for students participating in other activities. Please email me at jeffrey.keyes@comalisd.org if you have any other conflicts with rehearsal this week.

Football - Attend band after football practice

Band Booster Meeting

We are having our first band booster meeting on Monday, August 8th at 6:30 pm in the auditorium. Please enter the auditorium through the courtyard. Yard signs orders can be placed before or after the meeting. You can still join our boosters. The cost is $20 per family.

Corporate Sponsors

We are looking for sponsors of the Wolf Band and Color Guard. Click here for the sponsor packet. The deadline to sponsor is August 17th.

DHS Band Hawaiian Party

The DHS Band Hawaiian Party (formerly band picnic) will be held August 20th from 6-9pm. Please fill out the short RSVP form to let us know how many to expect. This will help us make sure there is enough food and fun for everyone. Note: Unfortunately, because of venue capacity and safety concerns due to this being a pool party, only band members and their parents/guardians will be permitted to attend.
