Weekly Announcements
Monday PLCs - will be moved to Thursday this week. Please come prepared and on time.
- ELA and Math - bring your historical data by class (the colorful sheets). We will work through each student to identify our focus to meet our CIP goals.
Student Accountability
- 6th Graders Assigned Seats @ Lunch - For now, 6th graders will continue to have assigned seats at lunch. Please continue to walk them down to the cafeteria. Please ensure that students are in a single file line and not talking on their way to the cafeteria.
- TARDIES- It takes all of us! If a student is tardy to your class, please make sure that you are coding the tardy in the system. Follow the Longhorn Tardy Policy and make sure to call home (document that in CMS). After the 5th Tardy (and you have called home) write a referral.
- RESTROOM - Just like tardies, PLEASE do not allow students to use the restroom the first 10 minutes or the last 10 minutes of your class. In addition, if a student is using the restroom everyday during your class, please call home and document in CMS. I was out in the hallways, during classes last week, and saw a lot of kids out of class. If kids are not in your room, they are not learning.
Faculty Meeting Tuesday's - Please put this place holder on your calendar for EVERY Tuesday (4:15-5:15). When scheduling appointments for you or your family, avoid Tuesday afternoons when possible. We often use these times for required campus and district training.

- Walkthroughs and Observations are beginning. If have not met with your T-TESS appraiser for your BOY and SLO, please do so this week.
- Remember once you meet with your T-TESS appraiser, submit your final SLO.

Greetings!
The Northside Police Department is selling a limited edition pink NISD police patch this fall. I don't know how many people collect patches, but this one is going to be a rare one! If you'd like a patch for you collection send the $10/patch payment to Joann Valentine using the links for Venmo, CashApp, ApplePay, or Zelle found on the flyer. Put your name followed by "LUNA" on the note field of the app you're using (ex: J Reyes LUNA) so that she knows to send the patch to Luna for you.
A lot of us have someone that has been affected by breast cancer. I personally will be wearing my pink patches on my uniform all of October for my mom.
Thanks in advance for your support!
Officer Jenny
