Greenbrook Elementary School

It was so great to see so many families at the Gator Gathering on Tuesday night. What a beautiful evening and a great turn out. Thank you to the PTO (outgoing and incoming) for their work on this event.

Thank you again for your patience with dismissal during Wednesday's dismissal. As communicated, our building was evacuated due to a smoking Air Conditioner Unit. As it happened this was almost right at dismissal time. Fortunately, the staff and students did a great job evacuating. The SPFD and SBPD were also on site to assist.

I hope that the communications you received via email and text were helpful in understanding the situation in real time.

As the school year comes to a close, it's time for Mrs. Cosenza to pass the reading baton to Mr. Matt from the South Brunswick Public Library! Mr. Matt was scheduled to visit us at Greenbrook last week but unfortunately fell ill, so he sent along a video instead that contains everything you need to know to participate. Of course, Mr. Matt is an absolute professional....he would never, ever allow himself to be caught on camera in a tutu or allow MattGPT to create a video full of mistakes! ....Or would he?!

The LOST and FOUND is located in the cafeteria at Greenbrook. Items will be donated at the end of EVERY MONTH!

Please write your child's name in sweatshirts and jackets and on all water bottles.

Encourage your child to check the LOST and FOUND weekly.
