Your students have been working very hard to prepare for our elementary spring concert! The concert will be held on Tuesday, May 12th in the Oakland-Craig elementary gym. Students are to report to the gym by 6:45 pm. The concert will begin at 7:00 pm and will last about an hour. Students will not be released to their parents/guardians until the conclusion of the concert.

Students are required to dress their best. Keep in mind that this is a school event and the dress code must be followed. We want students to look their best for their performance.

We are looking forward to a great concert!

Track and Field Day Track and Field Day

This year, our Track and Field Day will look a little different. Instead of a half-day event like in the past, students will spend the full day at the track on Friday, May 15.

Students will be bussed to the track, and field events will begin at 9:00 a.m. We will take a lunch break at 11:00 a.m., where students will enjoy hamburgers generously donated by Burt County Cattlemen's Association. Running events will begin at 12:00 p.m., and the event will wrap up at 2:00 p.m.

Students may leave with their parents from the event, but they must be signed out before leaving. Regular dismissal will still take place at the school at the usual time.

Summer Reading Summer Reading

As we wrap up another wonderful school year, we encourage all of our students to keep their reading skills strong over the summer months. Just a few minutes of reading each day can make a big difference in helping students maintain and even grow their skills for the next school year.

Summer is a great time to explore books for fun—whether it’s a favorite series, comics, magazines, or stories about topics your child loves. Visiting the local library, setting aside a daily reading time, or reading together as a family are all simple ways to keep kids engaged.

Research shows that students who read regularly over the summer return to school more confident and ready to learn. Let’s work together to keep those minds active and curious all summer long!

He approaches challenges with a positive attitude, thinks critically, and works through difficulties with determination and creativity. His ability to stay focused and find solutions, even when things are tough, sets a great example for his peers. We are proud of Bodhi's hard work and perseverance—keep up the great work!
