Asynchronous Session: Behavior Basics
Date: February 11, 2026
Participants will be emailed a link to asynchronous session training. Participants are expected to complete this training prior to attending the in person session the following week.
In the first part of this series, you will engage in a 2-hour asynchronous session covering the basics of behavior. This session will introduce fundamental concepts such as the ABCs of behavior (Antecedent, Behavior, Consequence) and the function of behavior. You will gain essential insight into why students exhibit certain behaviors.
In-Person Session: Interventions to Support Struggling Students in the Classroom
Building on the foundational knowledge from the asynchronous session, the full-day in-person session will dive deeper into identifying and addressing behavioral patterns. With a focus on students who need additional support to thrive, this session will provide tools to align behavioral patterns with appropriate interventions. Participants will learn about aligning function to intensive interventions and strategies that can be implemented to support student behavior in the classroom.
