November MLC Recap
November at the Mystic Learning Center was filled with fun, creativity, and community! Our students enjoyed a wide range of exciting choice-time activities, including Daffe’s Nutrition Club, Cooking Club, Film Club, and so many others like Arts & Crafts and even Roblox tournaments. Every day brought something new for our kids to explore and enjoy! We also celebrated Veterans Day with a special breakfast. The highlight of the morning was having one of Mystic’s very own veterans join us to share their experiences and talk with the kids about what it’s like to serve such a meaningful moment for everyone. To wrap up the month, we came together for our Mystic Family Potluck, where families gathered to enjoy delicious food, good company, and a warm sense of community.November was such a fun and memorable month we can’t wait to see what December brings!

MELC Through The Month
November MELC Recap
November went by SOOOOO fast, we know we are excited about the holidays but we are not ready for the year to end already. We definitely had a great time doing choices this month, some of our favorites were; Comic Book Club, Endangered Animal Club, Arts and Crafts with Aniana and making a Fall Collage with Charlene. We also were expressing what we were thankful for in a few projects we made like our Graditude tree (big and little ones). School was pretty easy this month since we were having the longer break, but we were still on top of our reading and math. We are loving the Piggy & Gerald Books! We are so excited to get into the holiday spirit and hopefully get lots and lots of snow. We want snow days!!! We are also excited to spend the holidays with the MLC and our families. See you all next year!
MELC KID AND STAFF HIGHLIGHTS
Kid- VIctoria started with us at the beginning of the school but it has felt like she has been at the MELC her whole life. Victoria is silly and fun and a great friend to have at the little mystic. She is willing to participate in a fun activity whether it is a sport or a computer choice or even her favorite arts and craft choice, she will do it all. Victoria is so silly and funny . We are so proud of her and can not wait to see what the next few months bring her.
Staff- Stephanya may not be a MELC staff but we all love her when she comes over. She has such a great relationship with many of us over at the little mystic that we wish she could stay forever. Stephanya works really hard to make sure the Big Mystic is okay everyday and even with that she still comes over to checkup us. We are grateful that Stephanya cares for us even though we are so far away.

We were grateful to have members of the Somerville Police and Fire Departments join us, sharing stories and connecting with our students. A special thank-you as well to Mayor Jake Willson for attending and spending time with the kids. It was a truly meaningful and inspiring morning at MLC!
Our Annual Thanksgiving Community Support
MLC comes together to support our families and community during the Thanksgiving season, and this year was no different. Through the dedication of our team and the generosity of our partners, we were able to help so many families prepare for a warm and joyful holiday meal. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Somerville Police Department, the Fire Department, SHA, and the entire MLC staff for their continued support. Your commitment makes this annual tradition possible and truly meaningful for our community.
The MLC had a wonderful time at our annual Harvest Potluck Dinner.
