Week 14

This week is a full week with an early release on Friday, 10:00 in the morning and 2:20 in the afternoon. The following week will be our super short week, two days of fun, before Thanksgiving break. If you are planning on traveling early, please let me know. We will not do Frog Street for those two days.

This week with Frog Street is over Shape and Size.

Our Vocabulary this week: circle, flower, heart, rectangle, star, square, triangle, gigantic, tiny

Photo discussion cards: circles all around, triangles all around, stars all around, rectangles and squares, flowers and hearts

This week's letters: L, l, S, s, B, b, T, t

For math we are going to be classifying items by their shape or size.

For our calm down strategy, we are learning a new strategy. Sit or stand as you cross your ankles. Extend your arms out front of you with your thumbs pointing down and cross your left wrist over your right. Put your palms together and interlace your fingers. Bend your elbows and draw your hands up towards your chest. Close your eyes and breathe deep.

FEDERAL IMPACT AID FORMS!!!!

These forms are located on Skyward and are extremely important for everyone to fill out. If you have already done so, thank you so much. If not, and you are having trouble, please call or come into the front office. The ladies at both Eisenhower and Bradley would love to help you get the form filled out.

Thanksgiving Favorites Feast

On the 22nd, we will have a favorites feast during snack. Each child is welcome to bring a small portion of their favorite snack to share with their friends during snack. I ask for small portions to share, so that during snack they get to try different food and not get too full.

Only restriction is no nuts.
