RILEY RECAP - VOLUME 4 ISSUE 10
November 18, 2024
From the Desk of Principal Henderson
Dear Riley Parents, Guardians, and Scholars,
Thank you all so much for the endless amount of support and love you have provided Riley this past week. We are forever grateful. I can't believe we are knocking on the doors of Thanksgiving Break. Please take time to let a family member, friend, significant other, or a stranger that you appreciate them. I encourage our scholars to keep working hard and never give up. You still have time to finish strong and secure your credit.
The week of November 25, 2024 classes will be in session Monday (25th) and Tuesday (26th). Thanksgiving Break starts Wednesday, November 27, 2024. Classes resume on Monday, December 2, 2024.
WE WILL CONTINUE RAISE THE BAR AT RILEY!
I am looking forward to working with you and your student as we work toward an academically successful school year. I can promise you the best of myself for your students each and every day. Please do not hesitate to contact me at shenderson2@sbcsc.k12.in.us if you have any questions or concerns during the year.
Our Goals:
1) Get students reading on grade level
2) A 95% attendance rate
3) A 90% graduation rate
We greatly appreciate the value that each and every one of our scholars and families brings to Riley. WE ARE THE PRIDE OF THE SOUTHSIDE! WE ARE #RILEYSTRONG!
Sincerely,
Shawn Henderson
