MAP Testing
Hello Parents,
Between August 24th-September 4th, we will begin our first round of Measures of Academic Progress (MAP Testing). This assessment is given three times a year. BOY, MOY, EOY. Beginning, Middle, and End of Year. It covers K-5 Reading, K-5 Mathematics, 3-5 Science, and 2-5 Language Usage. This assessment is utilized to measure a student’s academic growth and skill level in reading, math, science, and language usage from kindergarten through high school.

Entre el 24 de agosto y el 4 de septiembre, llevaremos a cabo la primera ronda de las evaluaciones MAP (*Measures of Academic Progress* o Medidas de Progreso Académico). - Libby: downloadable e-books, audiobooks, and magazines
- Kanopy: streaming movies and shows for all ages
- Learning Express Library for test prep

This year, we are excited to use PurposeFull People, a program that teaches students skills for success in school and life. We believe students need to feel safe, included, and connected while learning skills to face challenges. This month, we are focusing on Kindness as a character trait. You might want to engage in conversation with your students asking:
- What does Kindness mean to you?
- What is something Kind you did for someone else today?
