District Comprehensive Planning
On Monday, November 17, 2025, a team of diverse stakeholders will assemble to review and revise the Annville-Cleona School District’s Comprehensive Plan, focusing on our mission, vision, shared values, school performance assessments, and setting goals for the future. The last update to our plan occurred in March 2023; per the Pennsylvania Department of Education, our plan must be updated every three years. Planning for continuous improvement of teaching and learning is critically important to ensuring that all students have access to an excellent education that prepares them for college, career, and life. This type of planning is grounded in evidence-based approaches that can both improve student outcomes by allocating resources to programs and practices likely to have a positive impact. Opportunities to create, assess, and adjust throughout the cycle empower our school district to engage stakeholders in the pursuit of a shared vision for student success during planning meetings.
We have invited various parents, teachers, administrators, and community members from across the district to participate in our Comprehensive Plan update. We plan on conducting a collaborative process to ensure we gather feedback from each of our team members. Through this collaborative process, we will discuss the following plan components:
- Academic Standards and Assessment Requirements
- Gifted Education
- Student Services
- New Teacher Induction
- Professional Development
If you are interested in being a part of our Comprehensive Planning Steering Committee, please contact your respective building principal.
We hope that you will be able to join us at 6:00 pm in the High School Media Center on November 17, 2025. Light refreshments will be served.

School Spotlight
It's been a busy week at AE! See below for some of the events and learning that have taken place!
Everyone at AE has been focusing on strengthening their drawing skills in art class. These third graders are working on pattern pumpkins!
Students were working hard in Mr. Brinser's sixth-grade math class.
Mrs. Balchune's class took a moment to show their appreciation for paraprofessional, Mrs. Riccio, and all she does for their class each day!
Fourth grader, Aiden, wrote a song this week about what he thinks in means to be a Dutchmen!
Third-grade students in Mrs. Popejoy's class used evidence from a story to write from the point of view of a character from the text.
Mrs. Martin's third graders had a busy week! They learned to divide, had a Dutchmen Champion experience with a drone show and tell, and engineered model roofs to withstand hurricane wind and rain.
Students in Mrs. Wilson's fourth-grade science class use Starburst to explore how the weathering and erosion processes impact landforms.
