Black History Month Celebration
March 13th 5:30-7:30 PM
Join us for a celebration of Black History on March 13th at 5:30 PM. We are excited to share student work, engage with presenters and share a variety of food and beverages! The celebration will begin in our All Purpose Room at 5:30 and will continue with a variety of activities in our library and other locations. Please feel free to bring a covered dish or treat that you would like to share with other guests! We look forward to celebrating together.
The 2025 Black History Month theme, African Americans, and Labor, focuses on the various and profound ways that work and working of all kinds intersect with the collective experiences of Black people. Black people’s work has been transformational throughout the U.S., Africa, and the Diaspora. The 2025 Black History Month theme, “African Americans and Labor,” sets out to highlight and celebrate the potent impact of this work.
