Wolfe City FFA Shines at Livestock Shows and During National FFA Week
Heifers and Ag Mechanics students recently attended the San Angelo Livestock Show, where all Ag Mechanics projects proudly brought home blue ribbons. Our students continue to showcase their hard work, craftsmanship, and dedication in and out of the show ring.
During National FFA Week (February 24–27), members celebrated agriculture and leadership by promoting the importance of the industry throughout the district. Students visited Kindergarten classes to share where their food comes from, helping our youngest learners better understand the role agriculture plays in their everyday lives.
We also had a student participate in the scramble at the San Antonio Rodeo, earning a $2,000 voucher toward the purchase of a heifer for next year. What an incredible accomplishment and investment in their future!
To spread a little extra kindness, our FFA officers celebrated Valentine’s Day by setting up a table where students could write affirmations and place them in teachers’ Valentine’s bags. It was a thoughtful way to show appreciation and build positive relationships across campus.
