February 2–6, 2026, marks National School Counseling Week, a time to celebrate and recognize the incredible work of our school counselors. This year’s theme, “School Counselors Amplify Student Success,” highlights the powerful role counselors play in helping students thrive academically, socially, emotionally, and in their future career planning.
To amplify means to make stronger, broader, and greater—and that’s exactly what school counselors do every day. They strengthen student support systems, broaden access to opportunities, and elevate student voices, ensuring every learner has the tools and encouragement needed to succeed. From academic guidance and college/career readiness to social-emotional support and advocacy, school counselors make a lasting impact on our school community.
We encourage students and staff to take a moment this week to thank and celebrate our school counselors for the dedication, care, and commitment they bring to amplifying student success—today and every day.💚🎓
