AP Exam Information...Please read if your child is in AP classes!
Dear Lehman High School AP Parent and Guardians,
Thank you for challenging your student with AP coursework this year. Research shows that students who complete college-level courses in high school, whether they be AP, Dual Credit, or Dual Enrollment (UT OnRamps) are twice as likely to persist in college. You’re doing a great job of supporting your student for the future.
Though the AP exams for the courses in which your student is currently enrolled are not until May 2027 (schedule here), the tests must be ordered in the fall**.
Parent Drop Off/Pick UP Map. It is different from last year!
Due to construction, only buses will drop off/pick up in the front of the campus
Parents can park at the auditorium or at student parking during dismissal.
Parent Drop Off
Starting at 8:10am, the front entrance of the campus is for buses only. You can drop off in the front of campus BEFORE 8:10am. After 8:10am, you will need to drop off at the auditorium or behind the football field. Please do not let your child get off on Bunton Creek or drop off at the Dollar General. I received a phone call from the manager about students be dropped off in the morning at their store. Please refrain from dropping off at the Dollar General. Thank you.
To help the flow of traffic in the morning, if your child is not ready to get out of the vehicle, please park to allow other cars to exit the campus.
Parent Pick Up
Starting, Monday, August 24th, parent are allowed to park at the auditorium or at student parking while you are waiting for your child. I am hoping this will help with parents waiting to turn into the parking lot. We will still have an enter/exit only entrance.
You could win a prize for dressing up!
Don't forget to purchase the device protection plan.

IDs
Student IDs
Student safety remains our top priority. Please ensure your child wears their school ID at all times—they are required for security, lunch, and other services. Students are not allowed into the classroom without an ID badge.
Replacements after the 1st ID will be $5.00. We will check IDs first thing in the morning as this will be required to come into the building. If students do not have $5.00, the obligation will be documented as students need to have an ID on hand. School IDs must be worn with a lanyard displayed around the neck.
Please see Elizabeth Rodriguez (Elizabeth.Rodriguez@hayscisd.net) or Sylvia Alonso (Sylvia.Alonso@hayscisd.net) for ID questions.
