Family Engagement Opportunities
PTSA
Our Parent Teacher Student Association serves both the Superior Middle and High School students, staff, and schools. The next meeting will be TONIGHT, November 15th, at 5:30 at the Superior Middle School Library. Consider getting involved! Find their Facebook Page here for opportunities and meeting minutes.
All Night Grad Party Planning
We invite any junior or senior parents to the next meeting on January 3 at 6:00 at SHS in the library conference room. If you are not able to attend, but would like to be a part of the event, please email Nicky Wilson at nickyw2433@gmail.com to be included on future meeting notices.
Volunteers
Anyone (even PTSA members) volunteering during the school day will need to follow the District's volunteer process and complete the background check. If you plan to help out at Superior High School, please visit the link below and complete the 2 PART process. If you need assistance with the fee associated with the background check, please email leann.egnash@superior.k12.wi.us and she can help you. We do not want this fee to deter you from making a positive difference at our school.
The Lion Heart Experience
We will be having an exciting student assembly with The Lion Heart Experience next week. Find more information about the program here. The Lion Heart Experience will be having a FREE COMMUNITY EVENT on December 8th at 6pm at Superior High School. We invite all our families to come! Stop in and then head to the PAC for the Drama Department's performance of TRAP.
Help for SHS Clubs
SHS has a wide assortment of clubs held during Advisory time. This can be the time when students meet with groups such as Pledgemakers, Student Council, Spartan Spin, DECA, Black Student Union, GSA, FBLA, and more. Beyond those groups, there are also SO MANY more opportunities to sign up for an activity during advisory including cooking, ping pong, welding, relaxing activities, and time for crafting. Here are a few "clubs" that can use help with supplies, with their Amazon Wish Lists linked:
