Registration is now open for students starting Kindergarten in fall 2024! Incoming Kindergarten students must turn 5 on or before September 1, 2024.

For information on enrolling your kindergartener for the upcoming school year, including online registration and elementary school boundary information, please visit our district enrollment website at bit.ly/SSDenroll.

Kindergarten Open House is an event for parents and incoming Kindergarten students to visit the school, hear from staff members, and meet their peers.

March 7 from 4:00 - 6:00

Archer Glen Elementary

Families should park in the main parking lot and enter through the gym doors (there will be wayfinding signs!). Sessions will start every 25 minutes, starting at 4:00. The last session will start at 5:40. Please arrive 5 to 10 minutes prior to the start of your preferred session.

While waiting for sessions to begin, families will be given a chance to meet representatives from the Parent Advisory Committee (PAC), learn about the on-site after school care option, take a picture in the self-serve photo booth, and do a craft activity together.

Individual Kindergarten Open House sessions may fill up. To guarantee a spot in your preferred session, families have the option of reserving a session by clicking here: Archer Glen Kindergarten Open House Reservations (not required to attend the Kindergarten Open House). One reservation per family - both parents can attend the session using one reservation.

The STEM room is in need of empty cereal boxes for a future 5th grade unit. If you have any at home feel free to have your child bring them in and they can be dropped off at the STEM room.

As you know, our district is in the process of searching for the next Principal of Archer Glen, who will join our school in July 2024. Your feedback is important to our Human Resources Department and hiring team as they conduct their search for the next Archer Glen Principal.

To share your feedback with school district leadership and the hiring team, please complete the survey below by Friday, March 1. All survey responses are anonymous, and will not be viewed by our school's administrators/staff.

Archer Glen is participating in a Square 1 Art fundraiser!

Your child has created art for our school’s Square 1 Art Fundraiser. You may purchase your child’s art on quality, custom keepsakes. Every order raises funds for Archer Glen Elementary. Coming home to you soon will be your child's custom catalog for the Square 1 Art fundraiser.

Get a head start, and start ordering keepsakes and gifts featuring your child's art online NOW, if you like! Search for your child's art using Art Search, and enter Oregon, Archer Glen Elementary, and your student's name. Your student's art and code will appear, and you may order!

Archer Glen PAC is currently looking for volunteers to help with the following areas:

• Popcorn Fridays (signups are in Help Counter)
• Spring Carnival

To use the HelpCounter app, please follow these steps:

• Step 1 Submit your background check.
• Step 2 Email the volunteer coordinator at volunteer@archerglenpac.org to make sure that your background check has been cleared. This generally takes two weeks to clear.
• Step 3 Download the HelpCounter App onto your phone.
• Step 4 Create an account using the same email that you shared with the PAC coordinator.
• Step 5 Set your volunteer preferences and sign up for volunteer opportunities at Archer Glen.
