Jarrell ISD Monday Memo

Cougar Family,

The Homecoming Parade, Pep Rally, and football game are almost here. These events are traditions that define our community spirit.

The Jarrell High School Athletics Booster Club sponsors the parade.

It is a highlight of the fall semester. Our marching band leads the festivities while school organizations follow on their floats. It's always a thrill to see what kind of floats our student clubs and organizations create.

The parade ends at Jarrell High School. That's when the community gathers for the pep rally and the burning (or lighting, depending on the weather) of the JC. It's a decades-old tradition that is a terrific time of unity and fun. At our homecoming game, we celebrate football teams of years past while crowning a new homecoming king and queen and rooting for the Cougar football team. And, of course, there's the annual Homecoming dance.

Of course, we can't forget the beautiful mums. The bling is flashy and festive. Make sure you send us photos of your creation. Please email us at communications@jarrellisd.org

Join us in celebrating Jarrell ISD traditions and all that's wonderful about our community. Have a great week, and Go Cougars.
