Parent Update

Our first weeks of school at Palm Bay have been wonderful. Learners are practicing new routines, making friends, and settling into their classrooms. They have done an outstanding job of modeling our expectations of kindness, respect, responsibility, and integrity that is setting them up for a year of increased student achievement. We are all leveling up this year in our academics and behavior expectations.

You may have noticed that construction has started on our new gymatorium. We are all excited to watch the progress of our new gym!

I invite you to become involved at Palm Bay. Join us as a school volunteer, community partner, and/or become a Parent Panther member. For additional information on how to become involved, please contact us at 850-215-0770. Mark your calendar for September 29th @ 8:00 - I will be having a Coffee with the Prinicpal - the topic I will be talking about is Palm Bay Schoolwide Expectations and along with our annual Title I Meeting.

Thank you again for a great beginning of school. Working together as a team, will ensure your child success this school year.

We will begin the state Progress Monitoring (PM) the first week of September. This is PM1. We will give PM2 in December and January. And PM3 will be in April and May. These assessments monitor the academic growth of your child throughout the year.
