Dear Sister Annata Brockman Families,

On behalf of the entire staff at Sister Annata Brockman, we would like to express our gratitude for an incredible year. We are blessed to have the opportunity to work with your children, each one special in their own way.

We wish all of our SAB families a safe, happy, and healthy summer. For all students who are returning, we look forward to seeing you in the fall, and to all of our grade 9 students who are moving on to high school, we wish you all the best in your new adventures.

Each year, there is movement amongst our staff with some staff leaving and others joining the SAB team. For all of our staff who are off to new adventures, we wish them all the best and for staff new to SAB, we welcome them to our school community!

• We congratulate Mrs. Jackie Ament on her retirement from SAB and Edmonton Catholic Schools!
• We say farewell to the following teachers, who will be moving to new schools next year: Michelle Yeomans, Mrs. Linelle Youn, Mrs. Shannon Heck, Mrs. Ali Piwowar, and Mr. Lang.
• We welcome Mrs. Jacquie Connolly-Leason, who will be joining our SAB staff again, in the kindergarten class.
• We welcome Ms. Alysia Auger, Ms. Alejandra Barreiro, and Ms. Natalie Krehut who will be joining our elementary team.
• We welcome Ms. Taylir Stephen, Ms. Sophia Zombor, and Ms. Juwel Nassar, who will be joining our junior high team
• We say farewell to the following admin support and educational assistants: Mrs. Samah Kassab, Ms. Kim Estabillo, Ms. Jikulunu Jorgbo, Mr. Liam Russell, and Ms. Angela McIsaac.
• We welcome Ms. Yolanda Engel, Ms. Antoinette McNeil, and Ms. Tracy Leigh, who will be joining our team of educational assistants.
• Both Ms. Ingeborth Miranda Morgan and Ms. Anu Mol will be off for the year on maternity leaves.
• Mr. Marlowe Romias will be moving to St. Martha as the Head Custodian

A Year at a Glance: 2026-2027 ECSD Calendar

The Sister Annata Brockman School office will be closed from June 25 to August 23.

Our school office will re-open on Monday, August 24 to Thursday, August 27 from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Class lists will be posted the first day of school. You will receive a welcome letter from your child’s teacher the evening of September 1. Just a reminder that we will not be taking any requests for class placement. These lists have been made. Teachers spend a great deal of time creating these lists based upon a number of factors that have been carefully considered. Making even one exception creates a ripple effect that will necessitate starting over. We respect the decisions of our teachers and there will be no exceptions made. We appreciate your understanding in this regard.

Final report cards/summary reports for all grades will be available for viewing digital pdf on Wednesday, June 24 at 12:00 p.m. For all our new families, schools no longer print report cards for distribution at the end of the school year. Parents must access PowerSchool to view their child’s grades using their Power School login information received at the beginning of the year or using their child’s username and password. As part of a Sister Annata Brockman School Council fundraiser and for your convenience, families have the opportunity to purchase school supplies through Write-On Stationary. An additional 10% will be charged and transferred to the Sister Annata Brockman School Council by Write-On Stationary.

You are under no obligation to purchase through Write-On Stationary, it is optional. If you wish to buy the supplies elsewhere, simply go the website, or click on the links below to print the supply list.
