Dear Families,

It is hard to believe that we are quickly approaching the end of the year. Where has the time gone? As we continue to work to finish the year strong, please know that we will continue to focus on academics, while sprinkling in celebratory activities for students.

We are welcoming in the warmer weather. Please note the temperature can vary widely throughout the spring months, so students are encouraged to dress in layers to be fully prepared for heading outside for recess.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out via phone or email.

Educationally yours,

Mrs. Sara Leone, Interim Principal

Wildcats Celebrate Earth Day

The first Earth Day was held in 1970 to raise awareness about sustaining resources on Earth. Over the years, people have become more aware of how their choices impact the Earth. Staff and students celebrated by wearing blue and green to represent the water and land as valuable resources for all.

Based on their hard work, staff is excited to see the results of the students' commitment to learning this year. It is important for students to arrive on time, and try their best on the assessments.

Battle of the Books

This end of year activity at Wharton is steeped in tradition. For many years, classrooms have competed in the Battle of the Books event, hosted by Ms. Augustinas. This year, Ms. Augustinas and Ms. Sinclair are diligently working to prepare classrooms for this battle of the wits. Pre-battles to determine classroom representatives begin the week of May 9th, and the final battle is scheduled for June 1st!
