If you would like to request a schedule change, it must fall into these two categories:

  • You are scheduled in a class for which you have already earned credit.
  • You are missing a course required for graduation

If you believe there is an error in your schedule, email your counselor with:

A brief description of the schedule of concern, and the class you would like to replace it with. For a list of courses we offer, please visit our website here

Per District Policy 0603.20-AR(1), all schedule changes must be completed by the sixth day of the semester. For quarter 3, that is January 13th.

Be diligent about timing. Requests must be submitted before 3 p.m. on the 13th. Requests received after the deadline will not be processed so we can remain compliant with District policy.

Counselor contacts:

Last names A-F - schmidt.cara@westada.org

Last names G-Z - freeney.heidi@westada.org

Our counselors will work diligently to respond to your request in a timely manner; however, due to the high volume of emails around the start of the quarter, please allow extra time for a response. The Counseling Team appreciates your patience and looks forward to supporting you.
