Hello MHE Families,

Can you believe it's already October?! Only two more weeks left in the first quarter! Also, we have picture day tomorrow! Reminder...DO NOT WEAR GREEN ON PICTURE DAY! The company that takes the pictures uses a green screen, so anything green that is worn, will not be visible. As always, please be sure to review all the information below and feel free to reach out with any questions that you may have.

Mumkin Pick Up and HELP needed

Mumkin Pick Up is this Saturday, October 4th, from 1- 3p.m. at the Westside Masonic Center, located just down the street from MHE @ 4353 W Fork Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45247.

The company recommends 1 volunteer for every 100 items. Our Musketeers sold 2,692 items! That being said, we could really use 10 more volunteers in each slot to make this run as smoothly as possible. Report Card Printing

As the first quarter comes to an end, we wanted to inform you that report cards will only be printed for first grade and kindergarten (second quarter) this year. Report cards for grades 2-5 can be found in Infinite Campus. Please reach out to the MHE Main Office if you need assistance with this.

Building Information

Student arrival is daily between 8:30am and 8:50am. MHE staff supervision is not available before 8:30am. Students that arrive after 8:50am will be marked tardy.
Y's Kids morning and after school care is available through Clippard YMCA (513-923-4466)
Please refrain from dropping your student off in the main parking lot between 8:30am - 8:50am. This lot is for bus drop off only.
If you plan on having your child eat school breakfast, please try to have them here closer to 8:30am. All students that arrive at school after 9am will be asked to get their breakfast from the cafeteria and report to their class to eat. TEACHING WILL BEGIN AT 9AM!
Please refrain from picking your student up in the main office between 3:25-3:45. Parent pick up is at the back gate using your car tag. The front lot is for bus loading only.
If you are in need of a car tag, please see Mr. Smith in the main office. If you do not have a car tag, you must have a photo ID AND be listed in the student's file as authorized to pick up.
Breakfast and Lunch are both FREE this year! If however, you would like to have your child(ren)’s school instructional fees waived, you must submit an Educational Benefits or Household Income survey to determine fee waiver eligibility. You may complete the survey through the Infinite Campus parent portal.
Additional items can be purchased using funds that have been added to student accounts. (Snack/chip bags and ice cream are $1.25, cookies are $.90 or $.70, and fruit-roll-ups are $.75) CASH IS NOT ACCEPTED IN THE CAFETERIA.
Please do not send your child in the morning with coffee drinks or breakfast items from fast food locations (McDonalds, Starbucks, Dunkin, etc.). Students do need to finish these things before coming into school and should not be bringing them to class or the cafeteria.
Please do not drop fast food off to students in the middle of the day. In the event of this, your child will be asked to eat in the office instead of with their class in the cafeteria.
