Good Evening Weymouth High School Community,

A huge congratulations to our Unified Track team for an incredible performance at the State Tournament last Wednesday, earning an outstanding 2nd place finish! We are so proud of the dedication, teamwork, sportsmanship, and heart they showed throughout the season and on the state stage.

Congratulations to all of our teams continuing their journey in State Tournament play! Baseball and Softball will compete this weekend, while Girls Rugby takes the field this Wednesday. We also want to recognize Volleyball for their hard-fought and competitive match on Thursday. Although their season has come to an end, we are incredibly proud of their effort, determination, and representation of our school throughout the tournament season. Best of luck to all of our remaining teams!

It’s been a fun and busy couple of weeks celebrating our seniors from the cookout and yearbook signing to the prom. On June 2nd, we will hold our Senior Awards evening and wrap up with graduation practice on Thursday and Friday.

We look forward to celebrating our Class of 2026 at graduation on Saturday, June 6th. Graduation starts at 10 AM. Seniors will be receiving information from Dean Bonner throughout the week.

Biology MCAS - June 2nd & 3rd

It is important that 10th grade and 9th grade students enrolled in Biology come prepared to take the MCAS by having a good night's rest, healthy breakfast and bringing their chromebooks to school, FULLY CHARGED. Please make sure that you have updated your chromebook to the latest software. The directions are here.

Grades 9 & 11 will have a delayed start on the MCAS days. Here is the link. Any students that take the bus to school will take the bus at the normal time and will be in the gold cafeteria during the testing period.

Fall sports information night

On Tuesday, June 9th at 6:00 P.M. there will be a mandatory Fall sports information night. Team meetings will follow where individual coaches will provide information on tryouts and

schedules. We are inviting our incoming 9th grade families to join us. This event is mandatory for all candidates intending to try out for a fall program with at least one parent/guardian.

Our fall sports registration is open, please register here. We encourage all families to sign up before the June 9th meeting. The fall season will start August 24th. Try out schedules will be available from each head coach.

Issues in the bathrooms

We are continuing to experience vandalism in our school bathrooms. This includes dispensers being pulled off the walls, soap being spread around, and items being flushed down toilets, which can damage plumbing and lead to bathroom closures. When this happens, bathrooms may be unavailable until repairs can be completed, which affects all students.

Please take a moment to speak with your child about the importance of taking care of shared spaces. We encourage students to be upstanders—if they see someone damaging property, they should report it to a trusted adult so the issue can be addressed promptly. Thank you for your support in helping us maintain a safe and respectful environment for everyone.

Last day of school

The last day of school is June 26, 2026. The last day of classes will be June 22nd and finals will be from June 23rd - 26th. Here is the schedule for finals. Only students with excused absences during exam time will be allowed to make up exams. Please reach out to your child’s Dean for approval. Students are NOT permitted to take exams prior to their scheduled exam period.

Have a great week!
