It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of Ted Dailey, a valued member of the Blue River Valley Schools community, on November 11, 2025. Fittingly, Ted passed away on a day our nation honors its veterans. He was a proud veteran himself and a long-time supporter of BRV. Ted has served as a bus driver for Blue River Valley Schools since 2011 and will be deeply missed by our students, staff, and community.
Outside of his work and service, Ted could often be found on the golf course or spending time with his wife, Jo Ann, with whom he shared 51 years of marriage.
Please keep Ted’s family and loved ones in your thoughts during this difficult time.
A Blue River Valley school bus will be parked along Viking Trail next week as a tribute to Ted. The community is welcome to place flowers and memorial items around this bus in Ted's memory.
