What We Are Learning
Need to Know Below
Snack Reminder
We have had an increase in students not bringing a snack to school and regularly asking us for one. Please be sure your Ocelot is sent to school with snack, as we do have a late lunch. Thank you for your attention to this matter!
Behavior Reminder
We are requesting that you make time to have a check-in with your Ocelot about behavior. We have these conversations regularly during CARE time, Town Hall meetings or when resolving conflict with students. We are are seeing more reinforcement is needed right now... so we are calling in the "big dogs" 😄 Please help us support your kiddos social emotional growth by talking through some of these questions, it really helps for them to hear how others appropriately handle conflict. Thank you for your support, it makes a huge impact at school!
How are their interactions with peers?
How do they respond to Teacher directions?
What do they say when faced with a conflict with a friend?
What happens when they feel angry or frustrated?

Stick with Reading
Get involved with our SWR competition! If you are unfamiliar, this is an exciting way to encourage kids to keep reading at home! We highly encourage daily reading of at least 20 minutes. Please view the images below for clarification on how to re-join this monthly competition!
Brag on Staff
Aldridge admin is extending opportunities for families and communities to brag on our staff! Please follow the qr code to send a message of gratitude!
Connect to Seesaw
Seesaw is a student-driven digital portfolio. Seesaw empowers students of any age to create, reflect, collaborate and share. Families have been invited to Seesaw to stay in the loop about their child’s learning, and easily communicate between school and home. This optional if you are interested in receiving reminders or seeing your Ocelot's seesaw digital portfolio of work.
